【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesthemethodologyforcataloguingfeaturetypes.ThisInternationalStandardspecifieshowtheclassificationoffeaturetypesisorganizedintoafeaturecatalogueandpresentedtotheusersofasetofgeographicdata.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletocreatingcataloguesoffeaturetypesinpreviouslyuncatalogueddomainsandtorevisingexistingfeaturecataloguestocomplywithstandardpractice.ThisInternationalStandardappliestothecataloguingoffeaturetypesthatarerepresentedindigitalform.Itsprinciplescanbeextendedtothecataloguingofotherformsofgeographicdata.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothedefinitionofgeographicfeaturesatthetypelevel.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletotherepresentationofindividualinstancesofeachtype.ThisInternationalStandardexcludesspatial,temporal,andportrayalschemasasspecifiedinISO19107,ISO19108,andISO19117,respectively.Italsoexcludescollectioncriteriaforfeatureinstances.ThisInternationalStandardmaybeusedasabasisfordefiningtheuniverseofdiscoursebeingmodelledinaparticularapplication,ortostandardizegeneralaspectsofrealworldfeaturesbeingmodelledinmorethanoneapplication.
