【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefineshowuserorientedperformanceofcomputer-basedsoftwaresystems(CBSS)maybemeasuredandrated.ACBSSisadataprocessingsystemasitisseenbyitsusers,e.g.byusersatvariousterminals,orasitisseenbyoperationalusersandbusinessusersatthedataprocessingcenter.ACBSSincludeshardwareandallitssoftware(systemsoftwareandapplicationsoftware)whichisneededtorealizethedataprocessingfunctionsrequiredbytheusersorwhatmayinfluencetotheCBSS’stimebehaviour.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicablefortestsofalltimeconstrainedsystemsorsystemparts.Alsoanetworkmaybepartofasystemormaybethemainsubjectofatest.ThemethoddefinedinthisInternationalStandardisnotlimitedtospecialcaseslikeclassicbatchorterminal-hostsystems,e.g.alsoincludedareclientserversystemsor,withabroadercomprehensionofthedefinitionof‘task‘,realtimesystems.Butthepracticabilityoftestsmaybelimitedbytheexpenditurerequiredtotestlargeenvironments.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthekeyfiguresofuserorientedperformancetermsandspecifiesamethodofmeasuringandratingtheseperformancevalues.Thespecifiedperformancevaluesarethosewhichdescribetheexecutionspeedofuserorders(tasks),namelythetripleof:-executiontime,-throughput,-timeliness.Theuserorders,subsequentlycalledtasks,maybeofsimpleorcomplexinternalstructure.Ataskmaybeajob,transaction,processoramorecomplexstructure,butwithadefinedstartandenddependingontheneedsoftheevaluator.WhenevaluatingtheperformanceitispossibletousethisInternationalStandardformeasuringthetimebehaviourwithreferencetobusinesstransactioncompletiontimesinadditiontootherindividualresponsetimes.Theratingisdonewithrespecttousersrequirementsorbycomparingtwoormoremeasuredsystems(typesorversions).Intentionallynoproposalsformeasuringinternalvalues,suchas:-utilisationvalues,-meaninstructionrates,-pathlengths,-cachehitrates,-queuingtimes,-servicetimes,aregiven,becausethedefinitionofinternalvaluesdependsonthearchitectureofthehardwareandthesoftwareofthesystemundertest.ContrarytothistheuserorientedperformancevalueswhicharedefinedinthisInternationalStandardareindependentofarchitecture.Thedefinitionofinternalperformancevaluescanbedoneindependentlyfromthedefinitionofuserorientedperformancevalues.Theymaybeusedandcanbemeasuredinadditiontotheuserorientedperformancevalues.Alsothedefinitionoftermsfortheefficiencywithwhichtheuserorientedvaluesareproducedcanbedonefreely.InadditionthisInternationalStandardgivesguidanceonhowtoestablishatadataprocessingsystemastableandreproduciblestateofoperation.Thisreproduciblestatemaybeusedtomeasureotherperformancevaluessuchastheabovementionedinternalvalues.ThisInternationalStandardfocuseson:-applicationsoftware;-systemsoftware;-turn-keysystems(?.e.systemsconsistingofanapplicationsoftware,thesystemsoftwareandthe-generaldataprocessingsystems.hardwareforwhichitwasdesigned);ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsforanemulation(byatechnicalsystem-theso-calledremoteterminalemulator(RTE)-ofuserinteractionswithadataprocessingsystem.Itistheguidelineforpreciselymeasuringandratingtheuserorientedperformancevalues.ItprovidestheguidelineforestimatingthesevalueswiththerequiredaccuracyandrepeatabilityofCBSSswithdeterministicaswellasrandombehaviourofusers.ItisalsoaguidanceforimplementingaRTEorprovingwhetheritworksaccordingtothisInternationalStandard.
