【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedtomeasureshrinkagefrommoldcavitytomoldeddimensionsofthermosettingplasticswhenmoldedbycompression,injection,ortransferunderspecifiedconditions.Thistestmethodprovidesforthemeasurementofshrinkageofthermosettingplasticsfromtheirmoldsbothinitially(within16to72hofmolding)andastheyage(post-shrinkageatelevatedtemperatures).Thismethodwillgivecomparabledatabasedonstandardspecimensandcannotpredictabsolutevaluesinactualmoldedpartswithvaryingflowpaths,wallthicknesses,pressuregradiantsandprocessconditions.Differencesinmoldshrinkagegenerallyisobservedbetweenthespecimengeometriesdescribedinthistestmethod.Knowledgeoftheinitialshrinkageofplasticsisimportantfortheconstructionofmoldsandknowledgeofpostmoldingshrinkageisimportantfordeterminingthesuitabilityofthemoldingmaterialformanufacturingthermosettingplasticcomponentswithaccuratedimensions.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninbracketsareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThistestmethodandISO2577-1984areequivalentwhenbarsof120mmlength,15mmwidth,and10mmthicknessareusedforcompressionmolding;orflat,squareplaquesapproximately120by120by4mmareusedforinjectionmolding.
