【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheequipmentandproceduresfordeterminingshearbehaviour.Itisapplicabletothermalinsulatingproducts.NOTE.Thetestsdescribedinthisstandarddonotdeterminepureshearbehaviour,butmeasuretheeffectsofapplyingtwooppositeparallelforcestothemajorfacesofthetestspecimen.Thetestis,however,called'shear'inthistextbyconvention.Theapplicationofaforcetangentiallytothemajorsurfaceofthetestspecimenisconsideredtorepresentmorecloselythestressesimposeduponthermalinsulationproductsinmanybuildingapplications,particularlywalls,thanothermethodsofmeasuringshearperformance,e.g.bendingtests.
