【摘要】:Thegaschromatographicdeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionofhydrocarbonsolventscanbeusedasanalternativetoconventionaldistillationmethodsforcontrolofsolventsqualityduringmanufacture,andspecificationtesting.Boilingpointdistributiondatacanbeusedtomonitorthepresenceofproductcontaminantsandcompositionalvariationduringthemanufactureofhydrocarbonsolvents.BoilingpointdistributiondataobtainedbythistestmethodarenotequivalenttothoseobtainedbyTestMethodsD86,D850,D1078,D2887,D2892,andD3710.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingpointdistributionofhydrocarbonsolventsbycapillarygaschromatography.Thistestmethodislimitedtosampleshavingaminimuminitialboilingpointof37176;C(99176;F),amaximumfinalboilingpointof285176;C(545176;F),andaboilingrangeof5to150176;C(9to270176;F)asmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.1.3Forpurposesofdeterminingconformanceofanobservedorcalculatedvalueusingthistestmethodtorelevantspecifications,testresult(s)shallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
